True story...
I was at Beaverun outside of Pittsburgh at the One Lap Of America driving/qual school a few years back and there was some old dude in an Olds Acheiva just beating folks stupid. Seems he was an experienced Auto-Xer who had a good grasp of driving dynamics and was put in the first timers group with a bunch of guys with FAST cars and no idea how to use them. It was quite a treat watching the little quad 4 powered car beating feet around BMWs, Porches and Vettes.
