I bet it wont be as quick either, 330kw at the wheels is not easy for a Subaru engine. But unless you like a car that rattles, squeaks and needs every rubber bush and coolant hose replaced (over 30 in the GTR's!) the FT-86 would still be enjoyable.

On another note i have a nice closed deck Subaru motor just waiting for some 2.5 sleeves. I have a pair of heads that have been machined for 1mm oversized valves. I bet the FT-86 would get up and go with that in it!
