Media Gran Turismo 5 Master Thread!

Thought I would create a new thread for us to discuss GT5. There are a few things about the game I dislike and feel GT took a step back as far as the franchise is concerned. IMO, its about on par with the latest Forza. Sad it took them 6 years to make this!

No matter though! I finally have the Toyota FT-86 Concept 09'

Want the FT-86 Concept? Win the FT Challenge A-Spec event with Gold. I used the 370z.

    Some Drifting Action by me

    More lame-o drifting

GT5 in Game Dyno of FT-86

    PS3 Online Name: SoyDaHoy
GO GET THE GAME! Im bored lol. Maybe we can have a race night online in a Race room called "Toyobaru.net"

Impressions of the FT-86 in GT5? Well, its just what I was expecting, toss-able, not super fast but fun. Reminds me of a firm'd 240sx. Now its time to start modding it and see what she can do

Second impressions, now that I added 50 HP and made it even lighter with sticky tires, the car is FUN!!!

    Notes
-IB-3 License you use the Toyota FT-86 Concept 09 on a Slalom course.
-Win a Toyota FT-86 Concept 09 in A-Spec Races - Challenge A-Spec events with Gold

Graphically it appears better than Forza. West in what areas do you feel the game has taken steps back?

Modification system was bastardized. Menus are SLOW and not well thought out. Not as many cars readily available.

EDIT: Music sucks, and the addition of NASCAR is lame. I feel like they didnt want to buy rights to music, and took money from NASCAR to put them in the game.

There is no Scion either lol.

With those complaints sound definetly on par with Forza. Not in a good way either. IMO forza music forgettable at best.
