Exclamation More from Genisis 3.8 R Spec

So in previous articles, i was stated that the 2012 genisis get power upgrades. Who knows if the base 2.0t gets a bump. The sedan gets that 5.0 v8 and now news of the v6 3.8 r spec now may be supercharged. Here is the article from insideline once again.

The Hyundai Genesis coupe with the 3.8-liter V6 is no slouch. The car will probably make 333 horsepower in 2012, but still, with that 429 horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 kicking around, we want more.

A supercharger could do the trick, though, and that's exactly what our spy photographers have just snapped. This is very likely the R-Spec model. On the Genesis Sedan, the R-Spec gets unique wheels with hi-po summer tires and performance tuning on the suspension, steering and transmission. We'd expect similar from the coupe version, and we'd hope they tone-down the annoying power-cut during shifts, too.

It's no 5.0-liter V8, but the power output could be close. Fingers crossed this is bound for production and not simply an engineering exercise.

I really don't care what Hyundai is doing. They have done better, but I'm not a fan of the bulky genesis.

No, they have done better overall making cars from years past. It's just not the style of car I like. The genesis is too big and heavy for what I want, plus not a big fan of the looks.

In keeping with the context of the thread I was referring to vehical performance not price / luxury. let me restate my question:

What production car have they made that has better performance than the Genesis?
