    Which Car is For You

Alright so the RWD market is shaping up to have a lot of offerings in the next 5 years. Toyota and Suby (maybe), Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, and others all have RWD cars. So if they are all out on the market and you had the money, which one would you buy? I mean yes this is a forum for the Toyota and Suby cars, but if Nissan released a RWD coupe that is where my money would go.

    Ft-86

    Concept of Suby Concept

    Stang

    Based off of this

    Teh Genesis

    Based off of this

    The Kia

You should change the RX7 to the Kabura concept. That is closest to what would come to market.

And honestly the new SX won't look anything like the S15 unfortunately.

But to answer the question, it's really tough because I haven't seen what Nissan actually has in store for us. If I'm going to vote RIGHT NOW, it's for the FT86.

I voted Toyota over Subaru only because I am having doubts that the Subaru variant will be available in RWD.

I wanted to vote Nissan. But they (not some magazine or website) need to throw me a bone right now to gain my faith.

If they don't come out with a coupe, then the Suby would be my next choice as a V6 stang or camaro just seems wrong.

    86 got my vote.

+1 for Exitspeed about Kabura, in 2007 at 7stock I did talk to the guy who designed that car and he stated "No it's not part of RX7 not even close to have rotory..". RX7 FD3S FTW!!
They actually going to have s16 but it dosen't even close any of Silivas style. S15 FTW!!

With supra in your name I wasn't too surprised. If rotaries are so bad I wonder why Mazda doesn't give up on them.

From what I'm understanding, Mazda USA have gave up before RX8 came out. Most of the RX's had hard time passing smog cause of the very high compression or something have to do with US regulation failure, I forgot what was the problem. It's been a while. Anyway, in Mazda Japan did had the concept of the as RX7 FE3S back in 2003 when RX7 FD3S discontinued. They started to developed sportcars either Rotary Miata or RX7. As I remembered, Mazda Japan, wanted to change and putting little bit new style to the taste. So they came up with call RX8 with rear suicide doors, and making the rotary advance for US regulation(Renesis). So, everything went well for Japan, then in US did some tested and failed few times. Mazda US want it this RX8 to be in US, so US regulation made the Rotary more officiation data on smog regulation.
Now, I spoked to one the guy from San Diego Motorsports(not sure what was the name of that place), he had 13BT rotary in his RX8 when the RX8 first came out. He stated that he couldn't find the way to make Rotary Renesis higher HP nor WHP. He ended up swapped the 13BT on it, just to show up the 7Stock event with it. I wish I can get in to FD but I had at least 4 RX7 FC3S, and that too much money in to it and time. Rotary is a badass but damn got to keep it up at all times. I can't imagine having FD3S, that would be more money and more babied to it.

Sorry about the typing or english, I'm bad at it! I wish I wasn't deaf.

Ah I see. Your english is pretty good actually. I understood what you were trying to say. Why have you had so many FCs?

nuh, I love rotary engine, it's very unique, different, another way beside using pistons, extremely wild performance and way too much fun with it. Love working on it as well.

    3. Toyo-Next logical choice, since I am not a fan of Mazda and no V6 muscle cars

My local friend wants the Suby version for its possibility of AWD. That'd be cool and all but keep in mind that is a chassis developed for RWD being fitted for AWD. Sure, itd still be a badass car, but RWD is where its at.

    1. FT-86
    2. Nissan 240sx, would take a lot to please me based on Nissan's rep. No doubt they'd get it right though. The Z has been a damn good platform.
    3. Subaru variant.

That's where I'm at. I WANT to love the Nissan. The big questions though is will we EVER see one and it's going to have to be damn good for it to steer me away from the FT-86 because it is just so right to me.

Agreed, I would flip monkey balls if they dropped an SX concept, but they have nothing. I have been looking at Subies lately and they are looking really good.
