    Lightbulb Subaru's "FT-86" variant 086a / 216a, Fact or Fiction?

So what do we really know about the Subaru 086a \ 216a? What seems fishy to you? Add your opinions, I know I don't have everything here.

    The Bad:

    1. Sources of info have been rather un-creditable.
    2. No one at Subaru has official announced the development of the car. It has been discussed publicly, but nothing that is tangible.
    3. The Toyobaru spy shots at Nurburgring were of a Left Hand Drive Car!
    4. What if the Nurburgring shots were of the Toyota FT-86, not the Subaru 086a / 216a. We know the FT86 has been on the Nurburgring.
    4. Conflicts with Subaru's automotive DNA.

    The Good:

    1. Toyota's FT-86 is already confirmed to have a Subaru engine and drive train.
    2. If Nurburgring images (LHD) are true, is the car US bound?
    3. Different release dates and independent development could mean we get a non FT86 replica Subaru 086a / 216a.
    4. Subaru if you're listening. WE WANT THIS CAR!

Not much good if you ask me!

Now that I posted this, Subaru will announce its version in T minus........

I'm not planning on buying anything except for the Subaru variant with AWD 6speed brembos 310+ HP. It's that or no car.

What is your backup plan car? I understand the desire for AWD though, I should get an AWD version of the Toyobaru since I live in Colorado. I cant bring myself to do that, RWD is rooted in my DNA.
