    wheel search help?

Ive noticed that this site has members from alot of the other forums that lurk on them for hours.
Well im gona ask you guys for some help.
Ive been looking for some xxr 006's in 17x9 +20 for my s13
Since i am only one person and only a member of 2 or 3 sites the best price i have been able to find is 560 shipped for the set.
Has anyone seen them around for less?

ps.. this site deff needs some advertisers to give us super low pricing on stuffs.

For me it goes a bit like this.

    NA Car: Suspension-Wheels-Power.

    Forced Induction: Some Power-Suspension-Wheels-More Power

Good suspension brings me the most joy, with less headaches of power. Ill spend 10/1 on suspension vs power modifications.

wheels and suspension go on at the same time for me as they integrate together. Having the right rims tire profile and width will help w/ the suspension upgrade as far as stiffness, body roll, and handling. You can have the greatest suspension, but if you still have the high profile tires and small rims, you still lose substantial handling and run more risk of tire roll. If I had to pick one to do first it would be the wheels before suspension. Those alone will help the handling before you put the suspension on. (Assuming you go w/ larger/lighter rims)

I would add brake upgrades to my list, suspension, brakes, wheels and then power. So much more fun having the suspension and brakes first to deal with the power upgrade. Hate the run out of talent in a corner because I arrived too first and stuff the toy into the scenery!

Ideally that is how it would go, but unless one has money to toss at a car (I do not lol) then piece by piece has to be done. If I have a car that does't need need aero (I was talking s14) then it would be Suspension-brakes-power-wheels

Great point, I forgot about brakes. I am working on getting brakes for the S14. Z32 ftw

i have found that wheels/tires MUST come before brakes.
i put j30 brakes on my s13 but had cheapo tires. and they always locked up SUPER easy.
a 2600lbs car isnt that hard to stop. overkill brakes like z32 are a waste unless your fully built doin 150 mph everywhere. or have super sticky tires... if you do. i envy you.

well actually i think brakes should come first so that you make sure you get wheels with an offset that actually fit with the calipers :P

Brakes are part of my suspension plans as it usually involves wheels brakes and suspension which all need to play nicely.

I don't think you NEED aero on an s14 at all if it's on coilovers on really nice fitting wheels (can you say VSKF's?!) Aero for me is the icing on the cake after EVERYTHING else is done, because then you gotta worry about paint, which is more expensive than the aero itself haha.

For it to perform you are correct, however in my opinion stock body USDM S14's are an eyesore. I must have JDM aero.
