    Why??????

I had software problems with the audio system on my BMW and that was Unix. I'd be really afraid of a Windows-based car.

Apple based car= works great, software will be missing features that seem standard to everyone else, said features will be released over a series of dealer installed hardware and software updates, which all cost money. Car iTunes will work great for some and delete others music on a bi-weekly basis.

Windows based car= works great for a few months then devlops "problems" that are then "solved" by updates which then create more problems and eventually BSOD OR RROD OR Something OD

Linux based car= Works fine for the 10 people who get it and can fix it when it crashes after 6 hours of use.

Android based phone= Works best of all, so convinient. Logs all your data, upload it to your google mail, reccomends things for you to buy for your car. You love it until one day you stick the key in and it crashes and makes the car explode.

Nice bit of news...can't wait to see the engine specs (pics too) etc...so plans will start for modding...(if needed). I believe the car will come out...Fall 2011 USA.

    Agreed.

It might even alter my Suby buying plans if they pulled that move.

I really enjoyed this video because it gives a personal glimpse into the car with the designer. I also love the frameless door, which makes the design sportier. As far as I'm concerned a computer in the dash board is a wonderful idea. I could just think of the endless possibilities for that little screen: movies, gps, picture slideshow, backup camera, make up mirror phone dialer etc... you hired the right designer Mr. Toyoda!

Interviews with car designers are gold. A real insight into the minds of the men and women, with the passion (hopefully!) to style a car that everyone else aspires to own.

I want to hear from marketing. I would love to know how they are going to market this car.
