Perfect for me too. One of my favorite aspects of the design is the low beltline on this car. I can't stand the high beltlines on cars today.

If seat height is an issue there will be offerings to lower the seat position, you could always get a plasma cutter and makeshift a convertible/roadster though

Haha, or do it the easy way and zig zag under a semi truck Paul Walker style.

I'm definitely excited about the dimensions, I think cars are getting too portly these days and it's going to be great to drive something light and nimble for a change.
    I like boost.

The height makes all the difference in the world to me. The lower the roof the lower the beltline.

also the long wheelbase is going to make for a perfect center of gravity, I want to find a similar dimension cars size wise with that wheelbase and see if it's anything I have driven before.

    Integra Type R
    Wheelbase: 101.2 in (2570 mm)
    Length: 172.4 in (4380 mm)
    Width: 67.3 in (1710 mm)
    Height: 50.2 in (1275 mm)
Ground Clearance: 4.5 in (115 mm)
Curb Weight: 2639 lbs (1197 kg)

Me n the roomie started arguin if the FT-86 or his Type-R has a lower roofline, which its wider, shorter, and lower than the Type-R, and maybe even lighter? Thats a big maybe i would assume

    Oh it'll have 4 seats!

I'm thinking on coilovers... this thing COULD actually fit under a semi!

yeah, i've thought about it too. i had a 00 celica that was lowered and was about 3" from being low enough. most have tire racks under there though.

    sw20

    wheelbase: 94.5"
    length: 164.2"
    width: 66.9"
    height: 48.6"
weight: ~2850 lbs for turbo T-top (heaviest), 2600 lbs for base NA model
    weight distribution: 44 F/56 R

    zzw30

    wheelbase: 96.5"
    length:153"
    width:66.7"
    height:48.8"
    weight: 2,195 lbs
    weight distribution: 43.4 f/56.6 r

depending on how they do the seats, there can be alot of headroom. the height on the frs is very close to the mr2 sw20 (my car) and i'm 5'9. i've got 4-5" above my head easily. some people on the mr2 board are over 6 ft and can fit fine.

i'm loving the dimensions because if you look at length vs wheelbase, you'll see that the frs has it's wheels out further than any listed so far. meaning the wheels are at the corners. with an H. O. close to firewall and low to the ground mounted engine, you'll have good weight distribution. it is slightly longer and wider than an s2000, but should weight the same or slightly less. basically, it should beat all over the s2000 in every way. the frs could be one of the best handling cars on the market. it should also do really well in the slalom. although, a lot depends on how the suspension was designed and what kind of tires it gets. oh, and since it has a longer wheel base than many of the other cars, it should be easy to handle in a drift. very much looking forward to this car.

    Length: 163.78 inches / Width: 69.29 inches / Height: 48.19 inches / Wheelbase: 101.18 inches

    RA23/24 Celica 1975-1977:
    Length: 167.7 inches / Width 63.98 inches / Height: 52.0 inches / Wheelbase 98.2 inches

I'm 6 foot tall and fit into my 1976 RA23 Celica no problems at all. So looking forward to seeing this car make its on-sale debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.

I agree for cars, but to (badly) quote funny-man Robin Williams from the movie "Good Morning Vietnam" when he was reading the weather forecast for today - "It's going to be hot and wet, which is good if you are with a women, but baaaaaaaaaaaaaad if you are in the jungle......"

    Agreed. I could understand 1 or 2, 5 is a different story.

I want to see this compared to the genesis.
