Concept FT-86 Best Lap/Track Timer Gadget?

So I noticed the Track timer to the right of the steering wheel on the Studio images of the FT-86. IMO its a big waste of space, but here is hoping they support these cars being tossed around and abused on the track while maintaining the factory warranty

Will Toyota provide us with the software to lap and map our local track onto its system so we can run laps on it and compare times?

If that were the case would would already see the effect from the 240sx, which is more affordable to the younger driver. I havent seen any such stat regarding that statistic. Boys will be boys and kill themselves in any car, RWD/FWD/AWD.

Same goes for the cobalt, mustangs, older WRX's. Fast cars are getting cheap, people will die. Cold hard, sad fact of life.
