Im an Aussie, i have owned a 2000 WRX and 2004 WRX, but now have a R32 GTR, and my other car is a 1975 TA27 Celica that is yet to be complied and registered. Im planning on keeping the GTR until the FT-86 is released

I bet it wont be as quick either, 330kw at the wheels is not easy for a Subaru engine. But unless you like a car that rattles, squeaks and needs every rubber bush and coolant hose replaced (over 30 in the GTR's!) the FT-86 would still be enjoyable.
On another note i have a nice closed deck Subaru motor just waiting for some 2.5 sleeves. I have a pair of heads that have been machined for 1mm oversized valves. I bet the FT-86 would get up and go with that in it! |

My car is 34 years old and suffers the same problems - labour of love, still brings a smile to my face every time I drive it.
That combo of bits sounds perfect for an FT-86, looks like an aftermarket of hot gear and good ideas is starting to build up for it already. |
