    hei from Finland

I'm so glad to find a forum for the FT86/216a...

I'm running a slightly modified R53 (2006 MINI Cooper S, 200bhp+), and I've been loving it, but I feel the need to scratch the rear-wheel-drive itch without ending up in a taxi (MB C class or E class) or a BMW 3 series (nice but too common). Our other car is a Subaru, so I'm already a fan.

I'll be in the comps thread to start with. Seems like an interesting place to start.

    Pics of the mini?

The popular opinion (and the one that makes the most sense) is that RWD is better than front wheel drive. Although this is the case, don't get caught up in the idea that you need to have a RWD car to have fun in the corners... but it does help...

    Cooper S

... sorry about the old pictures, the MINI now has new OZ wheels/tyres, new JCW steering wheel, and only the Cooper stripes on the bonnet. Still, it's one of the best handling front wheel drive cars around...
