    Talking Corporate Toyota: Word

It'l be coming out 2012 on March. And the special edition is undecided so far of what I know, its either Fiery red TRD version just like the scion 7.0 lightning yellow TRD, or other themes were in talk, but the special is also going to be having the two toned interior etc. Once i heard of this news I did just as you are doing now after reading this. Jumping for joy wishing it was march already to be in line to buy it.

I am hoping the trunk is large enough for a folding wheelchair. A turbo would be nice also.

While for different resasons a trunk that big would be nice, and I would love a turbo as well as a torsen differential.

Wait it says production will being in 4Q 2011, which is July 1, 2011 - September 30, 2011. So when will the car be out for purchase? Maybe before 2012?

P.S. this will be my first new car and i'm so excited for it. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG FTS FOREVER. sorry lol

Edit: It says that it will debut in the NY auto show on April 22nd, but if the production version is scheduled to be shown in the Tokyo auto show on December 4th, will we be able to purchase the car between December and April?

4Q is not the months you mentioned. It is October through December. Also, the sales dates have all been rumors so far. The production version will be shown most likely during the Tokyo show and car will probably go on sale soon after. And when I say "soon", I mean most likely the beginning of 2012 (1Q 2012). People have mentioned that there have been some car makes and models that put a new car on lots for sale almost immediately after a revealing at a show, but it is rare.

Production was pushed back because of the earthquakes in Japan. I recently heard they may delay production of the iQ to push the FR-S, although I haven't investigated further to verify. Last we heard spring 2012 is goal.
