Mini Scion FR-S Ready to Dominate Redbull Soapbox Race

Five:Axis has been hard at work building the Scion FR-S we saw at the NY International Auto show, little did we know they have also been hard at work building a "Scion FR-S" Soapbox derby version in efforts with Redbull. This is likely the meanest derby car ever constructed. It will tear it up this weekend, May 21st at the Redbull Soapbox Race in Downtown Los Angeles.

This isn't your typical derby car, Five:Axis went all our on this one. Complete with custom aluminum frame, TEIN coilover suspension, Wilwood brakes, and a custom CAD designed body and matching "monkey ass red" Toyota FR-S / Scion FR-S paint. As if that wasent enough, the 240SX Falken Tire sponsored Formula D drifter Dai Yoshihara will behind the wheels of this beast to ensure any pursuit of victory will be obliterated come Saturday.
