Yea, the more I see it the less I like. The lines of the II just seem boring lol

This car does virtually nothing for me anymore. It looked so balanced before. Now it just looks awkward. I hate how the front fenders flare up so much.
The bad thing about pictures is that you never know how the car will look in real life. I've seen a lot of cars that look great in pictures, but terrible in real life. (2011 hyundai elantra) Then other cars look dumb in pictures, but good in real life. (2010 mazda speed 3)
Hope is the key - the front is overdone, but I like the flared up wheel arches, they help you place the tyres on the corner apexes because you know exactly where the contact patch is. The rear looks close to production ready.
I hope they keep the LEDs because thats how you know its a FT86 at night. Good for brand recognition. Just like how BMW & Audi began with their LEDs. Plus it runs at a lower electric voltage compared to bulb type daytime running lights.
Dont't forget the (370Z) looked like a bullfrog on steroids on print but in real life its pleasant on the eyes.
I agree the front seems overdone - those gill looking things under the headlights especially. Will that really go into production? The front and rear both look like aftermarket items. But the fender arches have to stay. That is badass looking and recalls great cars like the second and third generation Corvettes.
I think this car and its Subie cousin will be beautiful.
A picture of the luxurious Masarati.
