Subaru BRZ to Enter Japan's Super GT Championship in 2012

Its been a long time coming, but the flood gates are off the Subaru BRZ as the company opened its gates with a rash of news regarding the clouded concept car.

Recent news indicates we will see the Subaru BRZ STi Concept this week at the LA Auto Show, and a production mode will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show November 30th. Today, Subaru announced on its website that the Subaru BRZ will participate at next year's Super GT Championship in Japan. This years Super GT takes the cars through some of the top tracks in Japan, such as Okayama Circuit, Fuji Speedway, Sepang Circuit, Sportsland SUGO, Suzaka Circuit, Autopolis, and Twin Ring Motegi.

Subaru revealed the racing Subaru BRZ will compete in the GT300 Class. More information is to be released at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, which takes place at the Makuhari Messe from January 13 to 15.
