Finally! The hardest part will be picking a color, although I imagine the Scion and Subaru versions will have their own colors. My only gripes are those tail lights and the fact that the 17" wheels look dwarfed underneath the arches of the car, meaning I might have to consider 19's. I hope that the interior will be available without colored accents; that red won't stay red forever.

I love that the battery is mounted behind the shock towers instead of over the front bumper like most cars; yay weight distribution! It looks like that engine will take to modifications well

Now hurry up and get 'em stateside!!!

Black one for me please. The front is just right...I like the headlights they look the same as the modelista ones. The rear still needs help though. Its a little off to me. Now all we need is the price.

^^^That aero package is quite sex minus the park bench on the back. With the other wing and that front aero I'd be hard pressed not to walk into the dealership day 1. Wonder if the FRS version will retain that style.

Those BBS's are too convex for my tastes, and I always liked that style of TRD/STi wing, but this particular one overdoes it a bit... No doubt we will see plenty of dumped versions on deep-dish 20's coming from every tuner on the planet in the next few months.

Is it me, or does the front have a last-gen Celica-ish look to it??

    Dear members,
From what I can see, the break calipers looks like just stock and not the one they used in the race. I would like to keep it it looks Ok to not bad to me as long as they are clean and new like his. What will you suggest to keep them clean or may be some kind of coating?

I am thinking may be spray paint them to red or yellow but the high temp spray paint are hard to find. I really don't want to send it in for powder coat because it cost a lot and the car will be on the stand for 1 week min.

    Any suggestion?

You know why. 5x100 is good enough to handle 150 ft-lb of torq.

Just wait when the turbo comes out, if it comes out.

    well the 04 and 05 STi's were mechanically identical, cept 04 was 100 and 05 was 114.3

i didnt realize the 114.3 was meant to hold more torque??

Yes, the wider the spread, the more torque it can hold. It means the studs are further from the center of the wheel and therefore, minimizing force to turn it. That is why trucks go even bigger and then add studs.
