Toyota/Scion FT-86 II Concept: Redesign Preview for Geneva Autoshow Re-Debut

Isn't that the FT-HS concept that's supposed to be the Supra replacement?

Its actually a generic concept to indicate the future look of Toyota sports cars. There is a lot of the FT-86 in this concept. As far as it being the new MR2, it just happens to be very close to the size of the MR2, a 2 seater, and not enough front end openings to cool a large front engine. I have been away since about august when I finally broke down and bought a 2007 335i coupe. I am still very interested in this car! My need for a new car came faster then the production version of this car(every time I checked in it was being pushed back or disfigured, or something).
I think it looks ok so far, but I am very skeptical. I was burned by the honda hybrid coupe, the G37 redo for 2011, no toyota FT-86(scion), etc. I have been really turned off by this becoming a scion. I also don't like that this car will not come with a turbo from the factory. With it being a scion, I'm sure they will have all kinds of customizations needed to make it look or perform well...boo.
I am still hanging on and still willing to by a turbo'd toyota coupe. I don't think this should be a scion (I know it's over already, but I missed my time to vent).
The released "spoiler" of the front end looks promising, I think by narrowing the front, they weakened the overall stance of the vehicle. Before it looked really low and scwatted. Good luck to all those holding out. I am still hoping the best for this awesome possibility!

Welcome back. Even if it is a scion in america in won't be in europe or japan. EDM or JDM badges, bam, it's a toyota.

I was on the fence about the new headlight reshape but this works pretty well. I still like the triangular original but this doesn't detract too much.
