Trademarked: Toyota FT-86 Official Name Could be the Number "86"?

Thanks to tipster and fellow member "lookitschloe", we now have a twist to the plot of the FT-86's future name. Toyota has officially filed for the trademark name "86". Yes, thats a number. Just three weeks ago we reported the FR-S trademark filing by Toyota.

Oddly enough the use of 86 is more commonly known as "to leave, or getting rid of something". We will see where this leaves us now that both patents were filed back to back. Will the car be FR-S or 86, or maybe FR-86? As always we must sit back and wait for Toyota. However official word from Toyota has to be imminent.
