Shows promise for STI or atleast STI like options for the BRZ at some point.

So how exactly does TRD work? Do you buy the TRD edition with ALL of the TRD upgrades, or can you pick and choose what you want? Personally I'd pay low 30's for a TRD FR-S with just the wheels, brakes, suspension, and supercharger. Keep the skirts/lips.

I will NOT buy this car unless it gets a few more ponies, so this is good news for me. 230-240 whp would be perfect.

you buy the trd parts as options and then you have to pay to have them installed if you want the warranty. It gets expensive. They don't factory install them. Each part can be ordered separate.

If the car has an optional supercharger, usually it adds about 40% more power. So, 200 hp would have 280 hp ( or 280 x .85 = 238 whp). I'm how much power it could make because with such high compression, boost will be limited, but then also, higher compression makes more power per lb of boost. Even 5 psi *could* net 50 whp gains. The kits usually go higher than that 7-9 psi or 70-90 whp, but I don't think they can push the boost that high on this engine. We shall see. Oh, and they usually cost 3-4,000 USD.

    Update!

While searching the MT site I found some very good photos of new aftermarket parts from TRD, Toms, and Modellista.

    TRD:

    Toms: (definitely photoshopped)
